Shoe shelf
At home, an old shoe shelf that I made 10 years ago from improvised materials broke down. And I decided not to restore it, but to make a new one. A solid and beautiful pine bar. For manufacturing, we will need:

The bar is 20*45 in size — length 1260 mm
Self-tapping screw 3, 5*45 — 48 pcs.
Self-tapping screw 3, 5*35 — 24 pcs.
Water stain — the color to your taste. I chose a mahogany — 50 ml.
Universal varnish — 50 ml.

A drill with a 3.5 mm drill bit.

Additionally, in the case of own manufacture and processing of the bar, a woodworking machine
The procedure for making a shoe shelf
If you purchase the right bar that has already been processed for painting, immediately cut the blanks of the desired length
Detail 1. Length 600 mm. — 12 pcs.
Detail 2. Length 300 mm — 6 pcs.
Detail 3. Length 900 mm — 4 pcs.
I was making the right bar from a 100 mm wide board, so I used a woodworking machine to cut and round the bar.
After grinding, we drill mounting holes in our parts:
Part 1. Drill 2 holes on each side at a distance of 10 mm from the edge of the part.
Detail 2. Drill 2 holes on each side diagonally, one 10 mm from the edge, the other 30 mm.
We process all the workpieces before applying the paint coating on the grinder. It can also be processed manually, but this will significantly increase the shelf production time.
Next, we process the details with a stain to give the wood the shade we need. We dry and, if necessary, re-paint the parts.
After complete drying (after 2-3 hours), we cover the parts with varnish. I used a universal wood polish. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The shoes that will be placed on the shelf will not always be dry and clean. Therefore, process the parts carefully — this will greatly extend the shelf life.
After the varnished parts have dried, we proceed to assemble our shelf. We start the assembly with horizontal shelves. We take Parts 1 and connect them with screws 3, 5 * 45 to Part 2 on each side. Place the horizontal bars at the same distance from each other. In the same way, we assemble 2 more horizontal shelves.
Through the mounting holes of Part 2, we connect the shelves with the legs (Part 3). The distance between the shelves is marked in 250 mm. We check the horizontal stability of the shoe shelf and, if necessary, grind the legs to the desired length with a grinder. After grinding, the ends of the treated legs are painted again with a stain and varnished.
