The best islands of Venice

There are two things that Venice always greets us with. The first is her charm and beauty. The second is the colorful crowds of tourists. After all, it is a city with a population of 80,000 people and more than 25 million tourists a year. Venice consists of more than 100 islands, but most visitors to the city do not go beyond the crowded streets in the area of Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge and the Bridge of Sighs.
A short boat trip (or vaporetto public transport) will take you to quieter parts of the city, but still with a rich history and full of interesting places. Here are three ideas for new Venetian experiences to visit.
Best Island Beach: Pelestrina
You've probably heard of the Lido, opposite it is another fishing island — Pelestrina. The place is calm and has a pleasant rural atmosphere, in general it will be difficult to find another similar place in Venice.
Here you will see grown ladies sitting on benches in front of houses, knitting lace and exchanging gossip with their neighbors, while their husbands lay out nets and discuss the latest match.
Pelestrina Beach has few people and plenty of clean water.
How to get there: vaporetto 1, 2, 52 or LN from the stop of Piazza San Marco
The best island in Venice for a relaxing walk: Giudecca
Although it's only a three-minute boat ride from San Marco, Giudecca feels like it's a completely different city. There are quiet residential areas, family restaurants, factories, and several hotels that are suitable for families.
But the biggest advantage of the Giudecca is the stunning view that opens onto San Marco and the Doge's Palace. You can easily move on foot. Don't forget to dine at restaurants that offer an incredible variety of dishes from Tuscany, Veneto and Lazio.
How to get there: Vaporetto 2 or 4 from the stop of Piazza San Marco. There are four stops on Giudecca Island itself.
Venice's Best Picnic Island: Sant'erazmo
Sant'erazmo is known as the Garden of Venice. Every morning, local producers load fruits and vegetables into their boats and sail to the Rialto market.
On summer weekends, there is movement in the opposite direction — Venetian families arrive here loaded with refrigerated bags and plastic furniture in order to have a picnic in Sant'ERAZMO — where you can enjoy the silence, where there is no chance to meet crowds of tourists and where you can buy the freshest products, for example, fish that has just been caught.
How to get there: Vaporetto No. 13 from Fondamente Nove bus stop (30 minutes). An online crypto casino called Stake.com started in 2017 and has an official Curaçao eGaming License. Although it’s not been around for long, Stake has already gained a loyal following of users. Once you’ve created an account, you can browse the different categories of games available on stake casino site on www.casinoco.in/stake-casino/. They offer a variety of categories such as Live Casino, Slots, Game Shows, Jackpot Slots, Feature Buy-in, Table Games, Virtual Games, Blackjack, Baccarat, and Roulette.
